Computerized Maintenance Services MIS

The Opportunity

One of the large space research organization in India required an integrated MIS system to manage the preventive maintenance and calibration of the equipments used by their various facilities and departments. They required a system where any general user could place a job request for maintenance and the maintenance department could schedule and monitor the job requests through an automated system.

Our Approach

We participated in the open tender floated, and against stiff competition we were the chosen partners of the organization. We proposed to develop a custom made solution for them catering to the various user departments of the organization. We did the requirements gathering and analysis and presented the prototype of the proposed system.  With a sign-off from the customer we designed, developed and tested the system at our development centre. The system went through a stringent test from our independent QA department. On acceptance from our QA department we packaged and installed the system at the customer site, where it went through a round of customer acceptance tests. On acceptance the user trainings were done and the system was rolled out to all the user sections.
