Our client a world leader in electric power and controls anticipates and satisfies its customers'
requirements in the residential, building, industry, energy and infrastructure markets. To cater
to the rapidly changing technology advancements, they needed a partner who can rapidly run
transformation projects for their business critical applications like quote management, product
configuration and placement. SPEC India was assigned a Proof of Concept project in this critical area.
Our Approach
Our goal was to demonstrate the feasibility of technology transformation project for their business critical applications assuring better performance and maintainability using the latest technologies.
Our Solution
- Transform their existing quote management, product configuration and placement applications to Web Based applications using Microsoft technologies.
- The Proof of Concept would demonstrate how the front end can be replaced with Thin Client and ActiveX components successfully to deliver enhanced performance and maintainability using latest technologies.
- Based on the successful demonstration of the Proof of Concept, the actual transformation project would be initiated.
