As its customer base continued to grow and they increasingly plan their trips online, the client sought to create a smart mobile application to make it easier to plan their trips and improve their customer experience.

The client aimed to provide personalized travel advice to its customers based on their budget and preferences. Moreover, they also wanted to –
Travelers were getting general travel advice that did not resonate with their interests, tastes, or financial capability, and this was lowering the levels of engagement.
The process was currently manual, and hence, it took a long time to develop and revise itineraries, which led to inconsistency in travel experiences and wastage of time.
Real-time data access and app functionality were limited since the client's legacy system could not be linked to external booking, mapping, and hotel APIs.
User information was stored in multiple sources; due to this, it was getting difficult to analyze and predict travel patterns effectively.
Our machine learning model reviewed user behaviour, location, and history to recommend destinations, accommodations, and activities that best align with their interests.
We created an AI-based itinerary generator, which will generate personal day-by-day travel plans. It calculates the optimal itinerary in terms of time, cost, and user preferences, so that travellers would have the most optimal experience possible.
Our team has combined several APIs such as flights, hotels, weather, and navigation to provide real-time and precise travel information. This makes sure that the users will be able to get the latest information and make fast and informed travel choices.
We developed a smart and conversational chatbot that navigates travellers through their trip. It not only addresses queries but also provides local suggestions and even multi-lingual responses to provide greater usability and interaction.
We started with the vision of the client, what type of travel experience they intended to provide, and to whom they were targeting. Our team researched the market trends, the behaviour of the travellers, and developed user personas. This helped us in making a clear project road map and ranking features that would add the greatest value.
After getting a good grasp of the objectives, we proceeded to the design phase. Our designers concentrated on having things simple, intuitive, and appealing. Each of the screens was designed in such a manner as to facilitate navigation regardless of whether the user was reading about the destinations, making a hotel booking, or reading their itinerary.
We developed a recommendation model that is trained on user interaction, preferences, and travel history. The goal was to make the app act like a travel companion, one that knows what the user likes and provides a smarter suggestion every time.
Next, we added several third-party APIs to the app, which are flights, hotels, weather, and maps, which would provide real-time information to the app. Our QA team tested several tests after integration so that all things operated smoothly, including booking and navigation, with high-quality performance and safety.
We lastly launched the app on iOS and Android. However, our work did not end there, as we actively tracked the behaviour of users, received their feedback, and performed regular upgrades to make the app reliable and modern.
