About the Customer
The USA-based client is the Christian Law School who is dedicated to providing excellent education and preparing next-generation Christian lawyers. This law school promotes justice for the poor, seeks for religious liberty and provides biblical conflict resolution. They want all students and faculty to pursue a holy life characterized by humility, self-sacrifice, mercy, and justice.
The basic objective of the client was to generate the document from the salesforce and get it e-signed from the customers.
We had integrated Conga Composer (enables Salesforce customers to customize, streamline and scale their document generation and reporting for unlimited use cases) in their salesforce system. It enabled to create and distribute documents in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, HTML email and PDF forms using data from any Salesforce object.
Later on, the client needed the following changes
- Business agreements must be signed by campaigns.
- Place signed business agreements in Box.
- Omit user Arbitration and send agreements precisely.
- Address reminders of agreements.
- Pass the agreements after a certain time.
- Needed public URL for signing doc or downloading doc to hold in email.
Following were the challenges we had faced during the execution of the above changes.
- Conga sign charged separately, but the client had budget issues
- Box integration was to be utilized by adding a few parameters but it didn’t omit user arbitration. There was a need for third-party tools.
- Addressing reminders and passing agreement clear up by adding more fields and more code again be deficient
- Congo Composer submitted data only in MBs
- Achieve public URL’s for downloading or signing a doc
After studying and analyzing the challenges & requirements, we came to a conclusion to carry out Adobe Sign over Conga Composer.
- With the integration of Adobe Sign, the main objective of agreement signing functionality was successfully achieved. Adobe could preserve date and status for all the steps automatically like ‘Document sent to user’, ‘Signed by user’, ‘Canceled by the user’, ‘Document created but still not sent’
- Agreements were able to address to the user internally by avoiding admin arbitration. For instance: When a new account was created, then the agreement was sent to the related account’s email

- Set the base agreement and merge the similar statistics dynamically
- Set the expiration date and reminder for the document
- Get the public URL in a mail
- Dynamically set the recipient of the agreement
- After signing or canceling, analogous input can be saved back to the salesforce
Tools and Technologies
SPEC India successfully implemented Adobe sign integration with the salesforce solution which helped the customers with more compatibility functionality.
