Paytm Payout Service Integration with Mobile App

We reached out to different service providers and found that Paytm provides payout service. We created a POC with Paytm integration and showcased it to the client. The client appreciated our stupefying solution and provided go go-ahead for mobile app integration and Paytm API was integrated to redeem points earned by a chemist. Business flow: The chemist has to scan the invoice received from the company against their orders. On approval of invoice by admin, chemist earns points. Chemists can redeem points using the scheme and defined money will be transferred to the chemist’s Paytm account with a registered mobile number. On redemption request, chemist points were deducted and on rejection or failure of the Paytm transaction, deducted points were reverted back to chemist account. While integrating Paytm, several challenges like Chemist not having a Paytm account, delay in response by Paytm API resulting in failure of instantaneous status update of the redemption request, Paytm API failure, etc. were faced. As a part of the solution, we provided validations. Along with instantaneous status updates, a job was developed to fetch the status of Paytm transactions and update them accordingly in the chemist account.
