Much was said and discussed about the Digital India initiative taken by the very proactive, young government of India earlier this year. Bouquets and brickbats followed a series of announcements throughout the Digital India Week as well, celebrated as an IT awareness week from the First of July 2015.
The commendable thing this government does is that it gives us recognition in the world and makes us proud by doing everything with aplomb, élan and confidence. Right from the Digital India week celebrations here to the visit of none other than the man of the moment, the honorable Prime Minister Mr Modi to the Mecca of Information Technology, the Silicon Valley.
What followed are a series of proud moments good to savor and get inspired from.
Of course, the Prime Minister discussed at detail three of his best projects at length during the tenure of his visit, Digital India, Smart Cities and Make in India. But for obvious reasons, we are biased towards all that mattered more to the IT fraternity.
